With the OAuth credentials established, you can now connect to iCR for Python. Use the IP address which you copied earlier to access your instance as described in Connecting to the Navigator in the User Guide.
NOTE: When the EC2 instance is first started, or later restarted, it may take a few minutes before the server becomes available. If you get a 504 Gateway Time-Out error while trying to reach iCR, it is because the server is not yet operational.
Once connected to the Navigator, you can set the License Key that you obtained from OpenRefactory.
NOTE: The AWS Marketplace system is used to provide access and billing for the use of iCR for Python. However, you must contact OpenRefactory to obtain a special key which allows iCR to analyze projects. OpenRefactory needs to work with any partner using AWS to make sure that a support relationship is in place before beginning to use iCR for Python.
From the Navigator, use the Settings menu item to select the Update License Key command. From there, copy the license key value that you obtained from OpenRefactory. Click on Submit to accept the key. Once entered, you will be able to analyze your Python projects.
This brief video will show you how this is done.
Once set, iCR will operate as described in the remainder of the User Guide.
